Call of Duty: WWII is the latest release in Activision's FPS franchise and one of their best yet. The game features a larger than life heroic cast, vast World War II setting, and expansive multiplayer mode. It has received high praise from gamers and critics alike for its stellar gameplay and realistic visuals. The developers have gone all out with this title to ensure that players enjoy an impressive experience during the campaign mode as well as when playing online with friends or strangers around the world—and it seems they succeeded brilliantly! One area where Call of Duty: WWII shines particularly brightly however is content availability. The game does not require its players to spend a significant amount of money just to enjoy the title. For starters, there is no "season pass" – all of the content that's been released thus far is included free of charge just for owning the game! Players can purchase additional content such as character packs and multiplayer maps with real money if they so choose, but nobody will ever have to pay a cent out-of-pocket for this or any other Call of Duty title. If Call of Duty: WWII's campaign mode were made entirely from real life footage, it would be one of the best and most impactful I'd ever played (and I'm not saying that lightly). The campaign mode essentially puts you in the boots of a young soldier and takes you through all the major events of World War II. As the story unfolds, your character's journey takes him all over Europe including France, Norway, Germany, Greece, Italy, Belgium, Holland, and more. It's mesmerizing to watch these events unfold in front of your own eyes. It's almost like you're really there! I was blown away by how well this game recreates history. If anything were to ever happen in this world again it feels like one is prepared enough to handle whatever comes their way with ease after playing this game for several hours. All in all I'd say it's an amazing single player experience that does not disappoint. If you've already played through an older Call of Duty title, there's definitely very little here that will be able to surprise you. The game has proven itself to be an excellent product and one that I'd gladly recommend to others. If you're worried that the game would suffer from repetitive gameplay or boring missions, you've got nothing to worry about! Expect tons of action, tons of tension, tons of drama, tons of violence, and tons more fun! In addition to the original version which includes access to four multiplayer maps and a bonus Zombies level titled "Abandoned. "There's also a digital deluxe edition of the game which includes all of those maps as well as a bunch of other bonuses. This version does not contain the bonus "Abandoned" Zombies level, but it does come with an extra multiplayer outfit for one of your soldiers and five additional weapon variants. After you've played through this amazing title at least once, you'll feel positively compelled to try out other Call of Duty games as well. While playing through the single player missions you'll likely begin to wonder what it would be like if other titles were created along these same lines. eccc085e13
